Elizabeth’s passion for art and animals has lead her to begin her own Pet Portrait business, “Edryden Pawtraits”, where she donates 10% of each mixed media pet portrait commission to an animal shelter/organization of her client’s choice. She is currently creating a new body of work for gallery representation in her signature haunting, yet eloquent, mixed media style.
The work she creates is also a focus on balance between the agony and ecstasy of each passing moment. There’s a constant balance of paradoxical elements such as beauty and death, man verses machine, the disciplined and unconstrained, which make up life’s rhythm. She hopes to intrigue thought and create beauty through the processes of these opposing forces which rely on each other to exist.
